From 8,000 lbs. to 15,000 lbs., our leaf spring axles are the benchmark of the trailer industry.
Straight spindles are considered standard for axles rated above 9,000 lbs. Leaf springs are offered in single and double slipper spring configurations and can be mounted in either underslung or overslung configurations. In many cases, we have multiple tube and spindle solutions to safely handle the overhang customers desire. Leaf Spring axles come standard with oil bath lubrication but can also be configured with grease bearings.
For capacities of 9,000 lbs. to 12,000 lbs., we also offer the TORFLEX® system. It’s a torsion arm-type suspension that is completely self-contained within the axle tube. It attaches directly to the trailer frame using brackets which are an integral part of the axle assembly.
